The AC Milan striker posted a picture on his official Facebook account in which the Italy page of his sticker album was filled entirely with pictures of himself
As collectors worldwide sweat over the final few swaps needed to fill in their 2014 World Cup Panini sticker albums, Mario Balotelli has come up with a novel way of completing his own.
On Monday the Balotelli posted a picture on his official Facebook account showing the Italy page of a sticker album with his own picture occupying every spot.
The wacky 23-year-old captioned the picture ‘WHY ALWAYS ME’, the phrase he famously revealed underneath his Manchester City shirt moments after scoring the opening goal in a 6-1 thrashing of bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford in October 2011.
Balotelli came into this summer’s World Cup off the back of a disappointing season with AC Milan which saw him score 17 goals in 39 matches in all competitions.
But the mercurial striker appears much happier in an Italy shirt and scored the winning goal in his country’s 2-1 win over England in Manaus on Saturday.
