The Milan forward picked up two yellow cards in the second half of his country’s 0-0 draw with Czech Republic
Mario Balotelli picked up two yellow cards in the space of four minutes as Italy drew 0-0 with Czech Republic in Prague on Friday night.
The Milan forward was booked with 68 minutes on the clock following a needless challenge on Michal Kadlec, before a second was brandished at the former Manchester City man after referee Svein Oddvar Moen deemed he struck Gebre Selassie in the face.
Fortunately for Balotelli, the Czechs failed to make their numerical advantage count, as the Azzurri took another significant step towards Rio, and the 2014 World Cup finals.
