Brescia President Massimo Cellino has sacked Gigi Delneri and brought back Diego Lopez, who had been the coach from February to August 2020.
The decision was made by volcanic patron Cellino just two games into the new Serie B season.
The Rondinelle picked up one point from those two rounds and Delneri was fired after a 3-0 defeat to league leaders Cittadella.
Lopez had been at Brescia from February 5 to the end of the season, parting company on August 20.
His 16 games resulted in two wins, four draws and 10 defeats.
Delneri was originally meant to be brought in as a technical director, then changed his role to that of coach.
Brescia had started the 2019-20 season with Eugenio Corini in charge, he was fired on November 3, then brought back on December 2 after Fabio Grosso lost every game.
