The two have been feuding on Twitter over the last couple of weeks, with the Liverpool legend initially claiming that Balotelli’s new club, Nice, had overpaid in signing the striker on a free transfer.
This prompted a response from the attacker, who branded the Reds legend as a “bad player, wonderful hater!”
Carragher then replied with another burn, claiming that he wished Balotelli well in claiming the Ballon d’Or.
Nice have now stepped in to aid their summer signing in his trolling game, offering Carragher the chance to buy a shirt emblazoned with the Italian’s name.
