Balotelli's arrival increases Serie A's value by 50%, says Raiola

Mino Raiola believes that the arrival of Mario Balotelli at AC Milan will prove to be a big boost for Italian football, with the Premier League taking a hit thanks to the controversial attacker’s departure.

The former Manchester City striker completed his move to Serie A on Thursday following months of speculation, and his agent is certain he will go on to be a success in his homeland.

“The arrival of Mario Balotelli means that the value of Serie A goes up by 50 per cent,” Raiola told reporters.

“The English Premier League on the other hand sees its value drop by 50 per cent. All the journalists in England are worried about losing their job now Mario’s gone.

“Fortunately, we have been able to get a true top player back to Italy. The most difficult thing for Mario in England was that he could not live a normal life due to all the paparazzi.”

Balotelli could make his official Milan debut at the weekend when the Rossoneri take on Udinese.
