Balotelli desperate for Allegri stay

The 22-year-old has lent his support to his coach amid rumours linking him with a move to Roma

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has promised to do everything in his power to ensure Massimiliano Allegri remains at the club beyond this season.

Earlier in the week the Rossoneri dismissed speculation linking Allegri with a possible move to Roma at the end of the campaign.

And Balotelli – who netted a late winner in the 1-0 victory over Torino on Sunday – has praised his coach and says he will be among those convincing him to stay at San Siro.

Speaking to Mediaset Premium, Balotelli said: “All goals are important and beautiful, including my penalty from last Sunday.

“Under Allegri, I’ve found that things have gone really well. I think he will stay, I like him very much and I will do everything to make him stay.”

Juventus were crowned champions of Italy on Sunday for a second successive year, and Balotelli insists Antonio Conte’s men deserve the title.

“I want to congratulate Juventus, they deserved to win the Scudetto,” he added.

Milan resume their push to qualify for next season’s Champions League with a visit to relegated Pescara on Wednesday.
